| Full Name: Wesley Scott Borland
Date of Birth: February 7th, 1975
Born in Richmond, VA and moved to North Carolina and lived in Nashville Tennessee from 10-15. Then, he moved to Jacksonville to study art at a highschool.
Wes moved to Florida with his family, because his father had received a job there as a minister. Wes's talent on the guitar began to show through as he practiced more and more. He had two teachers at the time, on specializing in rock, blues, and country, the other in classical. Wes quickly opted for the guy who "wasn't classical." Soon, Wes took jazz lessons and got them for three years at a universtity
Before picking up guitar Wes wanted to play drums, but his parents didn't want the noise that would accompany them, so bought him a guitar when he was 12. He took lessons with a guitar teacher at the church his Dad worked for where he learnt blues and country, before studying three years of jazz at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (where Sam Rivers also attended studying the arts). Wes had a difficult time learning to read music after his first guitar teacher had taught him to play by ear.
He led his own band in Jackonsville in which he sung and provided guitar. In 1994 Fred was looking for potential band members and after checking out several bands he found Sam, Wes and John, all from different bands. The four of them got together and started Limp Bizkit
High school for Wes was some of the worst years of his life. He went to school at Hillsboro High School, 3812 Hillsboro Rd. Nashville, TN 298-8400. Nearly everyday he was beat up and made fun of. Kids called him "Freak" (wonder why) and nobody liked him. He spent most of his time alone or in fear of getting beat up.
Wes' stage appearance can only be described as "freaky". A big fan of science fiction and horror, Wes wanted to work with special effects and make up before choosing a career in music, which explains his bizarre costumes and face paint.
Status: Married to long-time girlfriend Heather McMillen they have been married since 4-10-98.
Wes joined Limp Bizkit when he was 18.
Hobbies: drawing, sewing, taking things apart, playing guitar, designing new costumes

Wes has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which he has to take Dexedrine.
Wes used to smoke cigarettes (up to 3 packs a day) but quit on February 9, 1999 :)
Wes got his first tattoo of his wife's name (Heather) on his lower back.
His artwork was once shown at a gallery in Jacksonville.
Wes plays an Ibanez 7 string.
Wes listens to bands like: Tori Amos, Ween, Portishead, Metallica, Ministry, Slayer, Bad Brains, Morbid Angel, Primus, Judas Priest, Lisa Gerard and Dead Can Dance etc
Wes has recently parted ways with his former band limp bizkit(amicably).Since splitting up with limp bizkit he lost no time in putting together another band called EAT THE DAY where he will get a chance to play along with his brother.
Wes' excuse to quitting limp bizkit is that was grew increasingly out of place in limp bizkit.He wasn't playing the music he wanted therefore fame and money could not keep him tied up to limp bizkit anymore.
his debut project with EAT THE DAY is expected sometime in summer and they will start touring shortly after the release.
